'Tis the season~

So for my first assignment, we were told to created an e-wallpaper using Adobe Photoshop, and the theme given to us was "Festivals". With that, I have chosen the Christmas festival for my wallpaper. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday, so I guess this will make it more interesting to work on creating my wallpaper. What is Christmas u ask? Well here's a little info especially just for you... :]

"Christmas or Christmas Day is a holiday observed mostly on December 25 to commemorate the birth of Jesus, the central figure of Christianity. The date is not known to be the actual birthday of Jesus, and may have initially been chosen to correspond with either the day exactly nine months after some early Christians believed Jesus had been conceived, the date of the winter solstice on the ancient Roman
calendar, or one of various ancient winter festivals. Christmas is central to the Christmas and holiday season, and in Christianity marks the beginning of the larger season of Christmastide, which lasts twelve days.

Although nominally a Christian holiday, Christmas is also widely celebrated by many non-Christians, and many of its popular celebratory customs have pre-Christian or secular themes and origins. Popular modern customs of the holiday include gift-giving, music, an exchange of greeting cards, church celebrations, a special meal, and the display of various decorations; including Christmas trees, lights, garlands, mistletoe, nativity scenes, and holly. In addition, Father Christmas (or Santa Claus) is a popular folklore figure in many countries, associated with the bringing of gifts for children."

Emm...just so you know, I got this from Wikipedia....a very useful software i must say....hehe.
So anyway, I'll probably start postin
g on my progress in creating the wallpaper in the next few posts, so be sure to stay tune~ Cheers~ :]

Hey there~ I'm Camille, 18 and currently studying in Multimedia University(MMU) in Cyberjaya. This blog was especially created for the purpose of my Computer Graphics subject, thus the title. I am currently learning about Adobe Photoshop in this class, so you will probably be reading/seeing a lot of step-by-step posts of what I understand about the program and how I use it's specific tools.

Anyway, I do hope you'll enjoy reading my blog and maybe gain some useful tips on how to use Adobe Photoshop as well. Cheers~ :]
